SAI Global and HACCP certification

Hazard and Critical Control Points (HACCP) certification relates to the food manufacturing industry. To gain this certification requires annual audits and meeting HACCP Codex requirements. The HACCP certification recently achieved by Australian Uniform Service in Melbourne, Victoria location was granted by the individual organization, SAI Global, from their Assurance Department. SAI Global was founded in 2003 and is based in Sydney, Australia. SAI Global is the commercial successor of Standards Australia, that was established in 1922 and recognised through a Memorandum of Understanding with the Australian government. UPDATE: As of 15 February 2016, all three locations of Australian Uniform Services has received HACCP Certification. These locations have complied with the requirement to be certified for “…the pickup, laundering, and delivery of garments for food premise personnel.
