Australian Uniform Service Melbourne location gets milestone HACCP recertification

With the increasing concern for public health and safety, Australian Uniform is very excited to announce our Melbourne, Victoria location has completed the HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point) recertification (c/o SAI Global Food Safety CODEX Certification), meeting the strict standards required by commercial laundry provider to ensure proper food safety and handling.

HACCP is a risk management system that identifies, evaluates, and controls hazards related to food safety throughout the manufacturing chain. A HACCP program can be implemented for control of physical, biological, and chemical risks throughout operations, and helps assure regulating authorities and customers that you are taking every reasonable precaution to assure food safety.

Australian Uniform Service in Melbourne completed two separate audits, one for documentation and standards compliance, and one on-site to check to see that all staff worked using the correct processes. Lasting 3 years, each certified facility will undergo an annual surveillance audit to ensure all processes are being followed long after the initial test.

This certification recognizes Australian Uniform Services’ commitment to ensure the highest hygiene standards throughout the entire process, and proves that our solutions can make a genuine difference in people’s safety, health, and life. We are able to quickly respond to changing conditions with innovative solutions that work for your business and are backed by our time-tested wash and delivery process.

Professional laundry services are essential to disinfect all garments and cloths used in food manufacturing operations and our HACCP certification re-affirms the crucial role laundry providers can have in contamination control, playing its part in preventing outbreaks and illness across Australia.

In our commitment to serving all our clients with the best clean available, we are working to gain HACCP accreditation nationally by embarking on HACCP surveillance audits in both our Queensland and New South Wales locations this upcoming January. For more information on the features and benefits of HACCP and how it can be beneficial to you as a customer, feel free to give us a call or email us!

Congratulations again to our Melbourne location!
