Awarded national HACCP accreditation

February 24, 2016

Australian Uniform Service is pleased to announce our Queensland and New South Wales locations have completed HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point) certification (c/o SAI Global Food Safety CODEX Certification). Additionally, our Victoria location has completed HACCP re-certified, meaning every location has met the strict standards required by commercial laundry provider to ensure proper food safety and handling.

HACCP is a risk management system that identifies, evaluates, and controls hazards related to food safety throughout the manufacturing chain. A HACCP program can be implemented for control of physical, biological, and chemical risks throughout operations, and helps assure regulating authorities and customers that you are taking every reasonable precaution to assure food safety.

All three locations completed surveillance audits for both documentation and standards compliance.

This certification recognizes Australian Uniform Services’ commitment to ensure the highest hygiene standards throughout the entire process, and proves that our solutions can make a genuine difference in people’s safety, health, and life. We are able to quickly respond to changing conditions with innovative solutions that work for your business and are backed by our time-tested wash and delivery process.

It’s absolutely essential that all garments and cloths used in food manufacturing be properly cleaned and disinfected. Our national HACCP accreditation reinforces the important role laundry services have in contamination control—in preventing outbreaks and illnesses across Australia.
